Me, my mum and nan had a day trip to Weston-super-Mare to celebrate my nans birthday and decided to have lunch here as a treat. We wish we'd gone somewhere else. Upon entering we weren't sure if we waited to be seated or just Sat down as there were no staff members greeting us even though there were 4 staff members by the bar. Once we had found a table we then weren't sure if we went to the bar to order or if our order was taken at the table as again this wasn't explained to us. Eventually made eye contact with the waiter and he came over.
Our drinks took ages to come and so did the food. The ham egg and chips was awful - the ham was very thin, the eggs were hard and only a handful of chips were served. Not what you expect for near on £10. My chicken and bacon sandwich was okay, but again only a handful of chips were served with this and I expected nicer bread for again nearly £10.
Overall we felt the food was very overpriced for what it was and the service was terrible. There were 4 or 5 staff members work front of house so not really sure why it was taking so long for orders to be taken and drinks to be served. Poor communication to customers as well.
