We ate here three times on our recent visit to Naxos. Views at sunset are well worth the visit. Service and food are excellent - George was particularly helpful. Will hopefully return some day!

One of the very best on this charming stretch of beach: very good seafood, nice and helpful staff, beautifully decorated. Has a good local reputation too, as I understood. Highly recommended!

We ate here three times on our holiday in Naxos as a young couple. We had 2 evening meals and one breakfast. The evening meals were out of this world and the service was fantastic. I would recommend the pork, we had it both visits and it was delicious. The mastic chicken and swordfish also good for main and stuffed potato and cheese roll starters. The house red wine at 3€ per glass is fantastic, by far the best we have had on the island. Very smooth and tasty.
The breakfast we had we very nice although a little overpriced for scrambled eggs at 8.50. The restaurant next door offers the same breakfast for €8 including coffee, juice and toast and jam.
It’s a little bit strange as the waiters don’t seem to want to handle your money and (what seems like) the owner brings you your bill and the change at the end of the meal.
Fantastic dinner with your toes in the sand, definitely visit again.

A lot of the food we’ve had in Santorini and Naxos has been very good, but stumbling across Ostria after a long day on the beach was an incredible surprise.

The sunset view and barefoot dining aside which obviously sets itself up for an extremely special evening - the food was... fine dining standard.

We compared it to Frenchie Covent Garden in London. Well thought out portions, flavours and presentation but under €50 for 2!

Starters - get the cheese rolls and sun dried tomato jam which you have to “split, dip and eat”, also the zucchini fritters which everyone else in this thread goes on about are definitely worth it for the smooth garlicky tzatsiki.

The pistachio lamb chops (which the waiter said weren’t his favourite - why not?) were insane ask for them well done so they’re crispy. My boyfriend had the pancetta with the sweet potato purée and caramelised apple cubes he didn’t speak for about 10 mins.

We’ve actually bi- passed dessert and ordered more starters they were so good. I’ll have posted this before the soft cheese parcels with homemade strawberry jam have arrived but I’m confident they won’t disappoint.
