We stayed here one night then came back for three more nights. I really like this hotel and think it's the best in Manakara. We are dealing with a different gold standard here so given the options the place was clean, the restaurant which is already well known for its fish, did not disappoint, and the staff are great and friendly.

We stayed at the rooms facing the canal. Behind the barrier wall in the distance, you could hear the ocean. I used my mosquito net and left the windows open. Lovely falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves.

As of July, the city electrical plant shuts down the electricity in Manakara from about 2-3 am to 9 am so charge up phones etc before then.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and we stayed in a bungalow, closed to the canal and to the ocean.
The room is nothing special, we found the bathroom dirty and the bed was not comfortable at all, so we had to adapt ourselves. The price is 120.000 Ar/ for night ( approximately 40 euros).
We had only breakfast, that was good.
So, compared to the malgasy standards, it's a good choice in Manakara.
