We were there a rainy and cold day, and nice to come inside a warm place. The restaurant was very busy, and we got the last table. The soup of the day was excellent, and the bread was fresh and tasty. The coffee had real taste, not one of those washed out black watery stuff that you get at so many places.
We ordered desert, and the cheese cake was really tasty. So we ordered some additional cakes to take home.
As the place was packed, the service was slow, so clearly unprepared for a full house.
Before you go there, check their new opening hours, as we heard they were going to cut down on the opening hours.

We really enjoyed our breakfast during our day trip to Canada from Vermont. Staff was super friendly, coffee and eggs were outstanding. Frelighsburg is a very cute town with a farmers market and shops. Lots of bicyclists traveling through.

While exploring the Eastern Townships, we stopped and had breakfast here, 26 Feb. If you are anywhere near Frelighsburg, Les Sucreries is a wonderful place to visit. Marie-Rose, our server, was friendly and the food was excellent. My wife had the French Toast & I had the maple, smoked salmon, Eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious. The portion was perfect, and came garnished with a very nice selection of fresh fruit. You can order any of the egg dishes with one, or two eggs. My eggs were PERFECTLY poached, and the hollandaise, was creamy and not overpowering. It was a delightful breakfast. We particularly liked the fact that this was definitely a cozy and local place. For all practical purposes, we do not speak French, beyond a few phrases. There is both a French and English menu, and Marie-Rose was patient & helpful. We did notice folks coming in to pick up pies & pastries. Their pies looked delicious and now that we have visited, we have added Les Sucreries to a list of places to visit again - perhaps for lunch & pie next time.

Just stop here for a quick lunch. Apple juice natural and delicious. Mozzarella mushrooms and chicken sandwich amazing and yummy. The maple pie with maple and walnuts ice cream were incredible. Recommended by a local friendly lady. Friendly waitress. We will come back for sure in our next trip to Jay Peak.
