We chose this venue for its location and the fact it had a hot tub, open fire, dog friendly and a lovely view for a good price and we weren't disappointed with our choice!
We appreciated the extras that was provided, some logs, some kitchen bits and it really makes the difference. We ventured out to the Royal Oak on Friday night for the live music, it was a locals pub, but we were made to feel welcome although the food wasn't as good as we had hoped. We had a fantastic lunch at the Hope and Anchor at Hope cove, we had a quiet corner to ourselves with Christmas tree and open fire, staff were fab and food super. Would recommend waking from the pub on the south coastal path, go through the woods to the fields and follow the rugged cliffs, albeit avoid a windy day, like we had today! Salcombe was also lovely and we visited it twice during our weekend.
Our only advice for this bungalow is that a better mattress on the bed would be appreciated, and Changing it to a king size would be good but not necessary. The hot tub could do with being beefed up, it lost its heat quickly, if the budget was there to make it a new 6 man tub, then think it would be money well invested.
We were return one day, with our children, although we will have to get in early as we note you are already booked for this summer holidays.
Overall a fantastic weekend away, thank you

We have just had a week's holiday at Tubbs delight.. and it truly is a delight! Clean, spacious with all mod cons... even an internal sound system in the kitchen! We were lucky to get to enjoy an open fire too which was great. The hot tub was an extra bonus looking out over wonderful Devon countryside from a pretty village location. We may have been in the peace and quiet of picturesque Malborough, but we were within easy reach of other villages, towns and seaside resorts (especially Hope Cove), so plenty to see and do.
Close by there are pubs (dog friendly) and shops to keep stocked up. The bungalow and garden are secure to ensure dogs and children remain safe for peace of mind. A perfect balance of escapism with the security of amenities!
The owners were friendly and helpful, especially when we had to alter our original booking date. We can't thank them enough as they ensured a perfect break in a wonderful piece of Devon heaven. I can't wait to book again and can't recommend Tubbs Delight enough.
