“Needs urgent TLC”

To Start with it is the location of this cabin that compels people to go there. The views are amazing. Internaly, the bathroom needs work, toilet seat broken, mold in the cabinet. General poor maintenance. Into the loung, the two seater sofa is unusable, sit on it and you end up on the floor. Main bedroom, the bed sinks in the middle, so got backache and very little sleep. Bunk room takes three but in need of deep clean. Outside on the patio, the furniture is rotten and not something you can use to sit and eat a meal at, enjoying the view. All in all a very back to basic cabin in the wood type experience. Hot tub is log fired and uncovered, so you will pay to use it but won,t in the rain.

An absolute hidden little gem - perhaps the best holiday we've had to date. The cabin is situated in beautiful surroundings with the most amazing views - so tranquil. Loved the daily visitors of birds and ducks and the hot tub was an added bonus. Both myself, my husband and my children did not want to leave. A few of the things we visited in the area were:
Kilchurn Castle
St Conan's Kirk
Inverary Jail Museum
Cruachan Power Station
Dunstaffage Castle
Kilmartin Church
Kilmartin Museum
Avich Falls
The only downside is that we didn't stay longer - will definitely be booking up for longer next year!

“Blissful”
Reviewed 22 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Fyne log cabin - such a peaceful environment, just what we needed! And the scenery was spectacular. The hot tub was great fun, having never been in one before! So despite the typically cool damp Scottish summer weather we were able to melt ourselves with a glass of bubbly in the new hot tub! Enjoyed a couple of local walks with the dog through the forestry - the Loch Avich Falls are quite special, and loved Maggie's food along at the social - even had a take-away on the first night! Irene and Mark were absolute gems getting us settled in. My only criticism, apart from the ever persistent Loch Awe midge, is that the cabin could do with a good spring clean to freshen it up. But overall a fantastic holiday - thanks!

being on the lochside the view was absolutley beautiful. the ducks visited us every day and a nice variety of wee birds, the cabin was clean and given the fact that its in the woods
and its probably been a busy summer the furniture could do with upgrading a bit but I loved it and hope to go back The village shop does a great toastie and the social club wonderful meals. everybody is so friendly. Great walks for dogs. Thanks to rubhan for our last minute enquiry Just loved it!!
