We had a lovely dinner at Le Saint Julien on a Saturday in early May. Although the restaurant was busy, service was attentive and timely. Among the entrees, the marmite de crustaces and the white asparagus were especially memorable. The main courses (beef, pork, lamb and chicken for our party of six) and desserts were delicious and attractively presented. The restaurant has an extensive wine list with a number of reasonably priced bottles, mostly from Bordeaux. Our experience at Le Saint Julien was every bit as positive as our experience at a Michelin-starred establishment (not in Bordeaux) the following night. Certainly, the food was of the same quality.
