Two nites in this hotel. Wonderful bed, good shower, spacey room and toilet. Enough ac sockets in the room. Flatscreen, but only french speaking channels. Room is silent.
Big parking lot. 300 m to an area with intermarche (supermarket/grocery) and several restaurants (many closed on Monday).
Breaky was good.
Checkout was easy, mixed up were corrected immediately. Next tiem again.
The hotel is in a very convenient location, it is rather basic but rooms are ok & it is very clean. Food is microwave freezer packs & breakfast is quite expensive for what you get.
Parking is secure & free.
Having stopped here on our way to southern Spain last year and had a good experience, we were disappointed to find the standard had dropped considerably. Whilst this is a modern hotel with adequate rooms and very good parking facilities, the standard of cleanliness was not good and as for the food, this came from the freezer, into the microwave and onto the plates. Very poorly presented. We arrived on a Sunday so do wonder if this hotel caters more for weekday clientele and Sunday meals are makeshift. Unfortunately there is nowhere else to eat within walking distance.
A very convenient and comfortable hotel, especially if traveling by car through Bordeaux. Just a couple of kilometres off major highways, very close to Bordeaux. The hotel is in a quiet residencial area, it is very clean and has every reasonable facility plus free wifi. Free, secure and ample parking. No restaurants or shops within walking distance. The hotel serves a good breakfast buffet at 8,50€ and a very reasonable dinner menu for around 14€.
We only planned to stay 2 nights but due to heavy booking in the Basque Country sadly had to stay another. We found the staff cold and not very helpful. The rooms were clean and new. We were miles from anywhere and could not get food at all on the Sunday evening as no facilities available for dinner. Vending machine saved the night ! Chocolate and soft drink does not make for a good dinner.
