Went over Easter break and stayed 5 nights. Was pleasantly surprised with the free off road parking and the walk to the nearby towns of Bardolino and Garda. Enjoyed the comfortable clean room and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We tried the restaurant and had a very pleasant meal and went back on another evening. My wife used the pool but found it uncomfortably cold given the time of the season. Overall value is reasonable and the location while out of town gave opportunity for pleasant evening walks on the lakeside path. Would recommend.

This hotel offers friendly comfortable accommodation at reasonable prices. Breakfast is buffet style and offers a wide range which should provide choice for everyone. We found the reception staff helpful and willing. We like to eat out and try local restaurants however used the hotel for dinner one evening and we're not disappointed. The set menu offered five courses with the star being sea bream serviced from the bone at the table. This accompanied with baked potatoes and green beans was excellent and would recommend it. The dining offers you good quality food favourably comparable to the local eateries. Overall great value for money for a hotel set on the lake edge with free off street parking which was great as we had a hired car for our 5 day stay.

I never have high expectations of hotels, have been disappointed too many times, but was pleasantly surprised that the positive reviews that others had left were completely accurate.
This is a very comfortable hotel, well located between Garda & Bardolino, a very pleasant 20 minute walk along the lake's toe path to each town.
The room was of good quality, with balcony, mini bar, gowns & slippers etc and was cleaned everyday.
Breakfast was excellent, everything you can think of, we especially liked the freshly cooked pancakes with Nutella.
The restaurant was high quality and reasonably priced, the 19.95euro set menu was very good value, good selection of local fish & wine.
Very nice cocktail bar.
Nice outdoor pool & private beach by the lake. We went in October so a bit chilly to swim.
The highlight for us was the staff, all very friendly and helpful and highly trained, cannot speak highly enough of them. Their ability to switch from Italian to German to English amazed us and maybe shamed us a little. They would not accept tips, instead leave a tip
at reception when you check out and it is shared among all staff at the end of the season.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough, perfect for a relaxing stay by the lake.

Room Tip: Ask when you book if you want a lake view and a bath (most rooms have showers)

A fabulous hotel with all the things you expect for a four star hotel. Great room, garden service restaurant and facilities. Location is not in a village gut a great walk to either Garda or bardolino.

For me, this is the hotel which time forgot. I thought the days of formal dining had long gone but not here. I do not have a large appetite but was EXPECTED to eat my way through a salad, starter, a pasta course, main meal and then dessert plus cheese every evening. They seemed to think not doing so was bizarre and it was impossible to simply request a plate of soup and a main course or a dessert. I had to sit for hours while my husband ate through all the courses more out of courtesy than desire and was made to feel extemely uncomfortable throughout. We would have eaten out but this is not easy. The hotel is a good 25 minutes brisk walk from both Bardolino and Garda so the many good restaurants in both towns are not very accessible. Bear that in mind if you enjoy visits the local bars after dinner. I would certainly return to the area which is very beautiful but not to that hotel.

Room Tip: Request a room with a terrace or balcony otherwise you will not get one.

Dear guest,
we appreciate that you took the time for your review and we are sorry that you did not enjoy the stay with us.
Our restaurant is open from 19:00 to 20:30 on purpose so that it does not get too late.
The hotel offers different kinds of accomodation. If you choose bed & breakfast you can eat outside or enjoy dinner à la carte (instead of a three-course menu) at our restaurant.
We offer a free shuttle bus from the hotel to downtown Bardolino which is just 1,5 Km. However, along the pleasant seaside promenade in front of our hotel there are many different bars where one can have dinner, too.
We really hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again at our hotel.
Best regards
