What splendid vistas, and grounds with lavender, roses, honeysuckle, and rosemary filling the air with fragrance and making it so visually nice. The food was so fresh and wonderful with a huge selection at every meal. The staff that went out of their way to make everything just perfect . The apartments were clean and comfortable.

My wife and I were with an artists study group and were originally supposed to start in a wonderful sounding agrotourism place near Montepulciano. We were exceedingly disappointed to learn after arriving in Florence that the venue had been changed to another area and a place described as a “Country Resort”. This was, we thought, NOT what we were looking for.
But it was.
Before even unpacking, we spent almost an hour photographing the interior of our accommodations, a renovated 16th century barn. When we all me for dinner, people were shaking their heads at the beauty of the place.
Dinners, in fact all meals, were quite good (although the menu does tend towards repetition) and by the end of our second day, the staff knew us all by name and what kind of coffee we preferred at breakfast. On our last day the artists held an outdoor show of their paintings. A large linen-covered table covered with food and featuring a silver bucket filled with ice and Prosecco was placed in the center and the owners and entire staff came out to join us and view the paintings.
Although some of our group took advantage of the proximity to Florence, my wife and I left only to go on walks through woods and fields and up into the foothills of the Apennines.
There are several swimming pools, a tennis court and a spa, which I never saw. One of our group expressed some disappointment about the quality of her massage (please).

Room Tip: Some rooms require climbing a number of steps. Some do not have AC. (Ours didn’t but it wasn’t a problem, even in unusual heat)

Stayed at the resort with a group of artists to paint en plein air in Tuscany. Every view around Monsignor Della Casa was amazingly beautiful! But even better than the views are the staff! They're all lovely people who go beyond professional to personally warm. Within a day, you're known by name (and morning coffee preferences). And the accommodations?--comfortable and meticulously groomed. Any issues? The concierge is there with a smile and quick resolution. Simply the best vacation!

We had the most amazing time here. The accommodations are outstanding. One of the best beds (and pillows) we've slept on in years. The best dinner we had during our two week European vacation. AND most important, the kindest and most hospitable owner and staff.

Room Tip: The villa with private pool was outstanding!!

Very friendly staff serving excellent food in this charming resort. Good that they have 2 different pools, one family and one quiet pool for adults. Sports like biking and tennis are being offered. We played golf nearby (only 15-20 minutes driving).
The rooms are very nice, we had an upgrade with a jacuzzi in the spacious bathroom!
A perfect charming place to recharge your batteries!
