Perfect for families with kids, almost never crowded, artificial snow everywhere if needed. Nice hotels and residence in Costa di Folgaria, small village just besides slopes. Flaw: law altitude does not favor snowfalls.

Perfect destination for all the family, ideal for a day trip and even weekend. Vast amount of slopes, beautiful scenery and great lodges. Not to difficult to reach by car and lots of different choices on where to part your ski adventures.

beautiful day skiing. It was very very busy, but the skis and boots were reasonable. (5 euro boots and 15 euro skis) the lift pass was 38 euro. They offer a ski school for lessons, but since it was busy it was hard to get into. There are loads of runs to choose from. A great variety of restaurants and bars for breaks in between.

Pists are perfectly taken care of and very wide, except for those ones which are used as ''links'' - they are very narrow and there is no fence, so if someone sweeps you of you end up smashed against the mountain (like I ended up) or you end up falling off pist into the trees - very dangerous in my opinion. I liked most of the ski area except Fiorentini because in order to get there you must push yourself a lot and it's not worth it. Slopes are not very demanding, it's perfect for families.

I attended a school skiing trip to folgaria Italy but cant remember the exact complex I stayed at, the ski instructors are brilliant and try their best to get you skiing- however the staff at the complex were rude and in other words just simply disgusting. They don't treat you with any respect and talk to you like you are dirt on the bottom of their shoe, therefore this ruined my time. Other than that the skiing was a brilliant experience and all he ski instructors were lovely! The slopes are beautiful with absolutely gorgeous views!! as it is high up in the mountains I did have altitude sickness for 2 days but that soon goes away! Also it is expensive at the hotels but if you move from there and go to the little villages it is cheap and the food is beautiful!!!
