“Overpriced and poor service”
Review of Bagno Dalmazia

Owner description: Bagno Dalmazia in Forte dei Marmi is one of the most beautiful and elegant beach-clubs in Tuscany. We have worked hard to maintain the qualities that drew our aristocratic clients in the past - the calm, quiet and relaxed way of life with unobtrusive friendly service - while updating the areas that are necessary for today’s discerning international traveller. We have restored the gardens and individual changing rooms while retaining wide spacing between positions on the beach that gives the sense of such openness, thus ensuring the privacy of our clients.

It is a nice and clean private beach but extremely over priced and the service is actually very low. I am more than happy to pay a high price when the service and quality are great.

Beautiful expensive beach. Every person that works there is a delight to talk to. You get a Cabanna with 2 beds, 2 chairs and a table where you can lock your belongings. Each Cabanna is so far apart from the other that privacy is amazing. The best service! The beach attendant recommended a special edition prosecco for only 35 euros which was amazing!

I ordered a steamed fish in the restaurant which was light and delicious. It is a must to go to the beach in Forte.

Eating on the beach is always somehow special, and the 'Dalmazia', closely linked with the splendid 'Principe 67' hotel, is no exception. Great place, excellent service, nice atmosphere; you really savour Forte dei Marmi's atmosphere in this place where you must eat in your Havaianas and short and a Goodwood polo shirt, enjoying the sun and the sand. The food is not exceptional, to be honest, but the atmosphere makes up for this, at least in part.

Thank you for your kind words and I am sorry that the food was not as good as you expected. However this TripAdvisor account belongs to the previous leasees, Paul and Nicola, not the current leasses, the Hotel Principe. Hotel Principe does not appear to have set up a TripAdvisor account for their new beach club yet, which is very different from that of Paul and Nicola

Bagno Dalamzia offers what I had not expected to find in Forte dei Marmi. First the warm welcome by Nicola Donati and Paul Waite makes you truly feel that they are happy to see you, and that you are clearly going to have a wonderful time. Instead of a crowded cheek by jowl beach, each "tenda" offers space enough to afford true privacy. Everyone there is happy and smiling. They make is easy for you to remember the staff's names, it's written in large type on their shirts.
Eating there, to me, is the best of all. The food is always special, and delicious. You eat under canvases stretched above you, but on the beach, facing the sea. I had never considered going to the beach at Forte dei Marmi, but now I can't stay away from Bagno Dalmazia.
