Nice place to stay in Mestro with very friendly and helpful staff (Valentina and Lorenzo) but you should have in mind that several things will consume your time:

- you will receive your grocery bag the next morning and it is a selfservice breakfast, you have to prepare it and at the end to wash the dishes (from a to z this may take you one hour); You may as well skip breakfast... and have it in Venice!

- bus is leaving straight to Venice only before 0900 hrs and last bus is leaving Venice arnd 2300 hrs and sometimes does not stop at the station but at Zelarino, one more kilometer away. After 0900 the connection is via Mestre Center and it takes altogether around 45 mins. Better learn the time table of the buses. The station is very close. Alternatively you can use a taxi costing about eur 30. Lorenzo can also arrange transportation from/to Venice better and cheaper. So if you are not a morning person better stay in Venice and save the troubles of back and forth transportation.

In any case if you plan to spend more time in Veneto area, Vila Moro might be a good choice - large parking, big garden, swimming pool, large rooms.

Booked for 3 nights early June, this was our second stay here and we were once again really happy with the accommodation and would give a special mention to Valantina who gave us all the information on Venice and local restaurants we needed to make it a memorable stay.

Great place to live if you are visiting Venice. Quiet and confortable hotel with pool and nice garden. The appartment was furnished with care and good taste.

Stayed there two nights i July with a full day visiting Venice.

Very practical as the bus to Venice stops just ourside the hotel. The 20 minute bus ride saves a lot of time in comparison to driving into Venice and parking at the car park at the edge of town. The bus stops just by the railway station in Venice where you can jump straight onto the Vaporetto.

If you are going to Venice for three days, stay in there. If not, stay here so you can explore other areas such as Padova, Trevisio, Verona etc.
Wonderful and large boutique apartments with everything you need - washing machine, kitchen, iron, parking, wifi and a bus stop right outside for the 18 minute ride to Venice.
Set in lovely gardens, a real home away from home for travellers looking for a base to explore the whole area.

We chose this villa for our anniversary because it looked really stunning. It actually was absolutely beautiful but we felt like the price is a bit too much for what you get. We stayed in a ground floor which was lovely because we could have breakfast outside which was great. The rooms were nice but the pull out sofa was not the most comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom corner was so small, that my husband could not fit in without having the door opened, which was kind of funny. There was black mould in the shower corner that should not be there for this price. Also everything is heard from upstair apartment, so our kids could not sleep until midnight, because they were doing laundry upstairs which was kind of noisy. Also each movement of a chair upstairs was heard downstairs, which was annoying. The kitchen was very well equipped, with supplied coffee for a coffee machine, sugar, detergent for washing the dishes was there also. For those, who stay longer there is also a washing machine. Staff was nice, helpful and spoke English. We had lovely dinner in Osteria da Gino in Mestre, which was great experience of delicious pasta and homemade cakes. The bus stop to Venezia is just 100m away and takes you to Piazza Roma in 20 minutes, you can buy a ticket by the bus driver for 2,50 Euro. That was nice that we did not need to drive to Venice. Overall the surrounding is great, there is a pool area but the pool was not filled with water yet, it is truly beautiful and stunning but we would not choose to spend that much money there again. We spent that much because of our anniversary but next time we will look for a better value.
