We booked three large rooms as we were travelling with children and grandchildren. The rooms were excellent, near to each other as requested. Very professional staff at the reception desk, great householding/cleaning services, very well organised staff in the restaurant and the beach and swimming pool area.....only one bartender ( Samuel ) is a trained professional, the three others could double sales if they would open their eyes. The cushions at the swimming pool needed renewal but this would happen in August....Italians then start their traditional hollidays.
Although the quality of the food served is on a high level, some more variation would be welcome, as we stayed for ten days. It is a very good thing that chef Ribaldone stept away from deep frozen food and opts for fresh, local dishes, but some "fiore di latte", " Buratta", scampi etc like in the old days would be welcome. As we visited the hotel the first time in 1993 we can compare.....the new management brought the hotel at its highest level now, especially if and when the one or two mentionned little details are improved.More
