This is the second October I have been to this hotel and I look forward to next year already. The staff is kind and accommodating even though I am traveling as a single female. The waiters are not only proficient at service they know how to decide the perfect meal for each guest. The orange juice is a religious experience in itself! Being on the seafront at this time of year makes you feel like it was put there for your sole enjoyment, the sand is still warm and the water refreshing .
No luxury is overlooked for the guest; from the remote controlled lights and windows to the fluffy robes and slippers .
I hate to leave and will most certainly be back next autumn!

My family spending summer vacation here in the Palace for three years in the row by now. And for the first time I decided to write a note. I read all negative impression about hotel. And it's true the beach isn't in front of the hotel and there is a motorway you have to cross but it's typical situation for most Mediterranean hotels. But on the beach you have you personal sun-bed and as many towels as you need. And you can leave all your beach staff there and find everything at the same place tomorrow.
For all three years we have full board and for all three years the quality, the variety of food and the service are extremely wonderful. And what even more amazing you can order all what YOU want even when your wished meal doesn't exist in the menu. The chef and the head of the staff will do the best to suit your demands.
Size of the rooms big enough for sea hotel where you are going just to sleep and nothing more.
The quality of all staff at front desk in the restaurant and in house keeping is above anyone's demands. They all are wery helpful and client-oriented.
I can write a lot about the whole hotel and it's facilities and about personal of the hotel personally. They are just best! One of the best places to spend holidays. Strongly recommended.

Noone available to carry our bags on arrival.
Imposing building with pleasant entrance and garden.
We occupied a junior suite for one week full board including beach facilities etc.
Superb restaurant with attentive charming service. Special requests including excellent lobster prepared specially. Breakfast in the room or on the terrace seved nicely. Buffet and menu lunch served on the terrace or inside excellent with a large selection of fresh produce.
Room very comfortable but needed instruction on how to operate the shower control as well and the television.
Pool area quite small for the size of hotel and we were disturbed on 2 evenings by private functions being prepared near the pool.
Private beach did not provide adequate shade from the sun, but changing facilities very good.
Very friendly expensive family hotel literally in the heart of the town with shopping, cafes etc. virtually on the doorstep.

I’ve just spent 2 days at the Palace with my family.
The hotel is located about 2 km. from the main shopping areas. The building is gorgeous, both outside and inside.
At our arrival we found and very tasty dish of strawberries and cherries in the room: a very nice touch.
Our room (Classic) was excellent: beautiful furniture, big balcony and state-of-the-art technology (for example there is a shower with thermostatic mixer). The soundproofing maybe coul be improved since one day we were awaken at 8 am by hotel’s cleaning staff who was loudly quarrelling on the corridors.
The hotel has a medium size swimming pool (it may become crowded during peak season) but I must spend some more words regarding the dinner restaurant: the food has a very high quality, the selection is very wide, the service is definitely the best I ever found in a 5 star hotel: for example at the cake buffet the waiter, after an explanation of the various cakes, offers to bring your dish at your table. One evening we saw waiters laying the table for the following day: while a waiter was putting forks and knives at the right place, another one behind him checked that the distance between cutlery were perfect! Table napkins were laid without touching them with hands but using cutlery! This is definitely one of the best restaurant I ever eaten.
Breakfast buffet is located in another smaller restaurant, selection was ok even if not huge, maybe an easy improvement could be done writing at the tables the name of each food.
So why did I rate the Palace 4/5 and not 5/5? For the private beach: this was completely disappointing and really not different from an ordinary 3/4 star hotel. It is small, with plastic sunloungers (on a windy day one fell down to my wife’s head, the same happened to me 10 minutes later), towels are so short they cover only half of the sunlounger! The only good thing is the “palm-style” beach umbrella: on that windy day hotel’s customers were the only ones on the whole beach that could stay in the shade. If your package does not include the beach, don’t waste your money here.
All in all this a very good hotel, pity for the beach.

The palace is a very expensive 5 star hotel but the problem is it
doesn't offer 5 star accommodation. It's a lovely building but
inside decor is dated and sometimes cheap looking. The rooms and beds
are small for a double and especially for a 5 star. The toilet
paper, shampoos etc are not high quality and more what one would
expect in a 2/3 star. No tea or coffee making facilities in the
room either. To be fair the (often slow) internet is free but they
charge €20 for using steam bath, jacuzzi and sauna - which is the
first time I've come across this. Reception staff are quite
helpful however round by the pool there's lots of staff buzzing around but
attracting their attention is not always easy, then getting what
you ordered takes a while. Pool and outdoor area small and not as
nice as it looks on the website. One day were sitting outside and
it seemed easier to have lunch in the hotel - until we were
informed the buffet was €80 per person, which is outrageously
expensive for what looked like a standard hotel buffet. Another
major gripe about the palace is it can be very noisy with
seemingly thin walls.

in conclusion there are some rich people who want to stay
in an expensive hotel, no mater if they are getting good value for
their money, that is who the palace caters for.
