Great pizza and a really fun night. This place is ridiculously cheap. Really! 80€ for three courses for 4 with 3 bottles of good wine. I don't need to say any more do I ?

We were staying at Locanda Rosati, but their restaurant was closed for our first night so we were delighted to discover this pizzeria almost next door. We had low expectations, as we were the only patrons dining in at the time (not a good sign for good food), but we soon discovered that the locals come by in droves for the take out pizza, which is what we ordered. The staff was extremely friendly, although he didn't speak a word of English, but we don't speak Italian either. However, he was very kind and this pizza was the best of our 3-week trip! I had Italian sausage while my Mom tried the one with asparagus and 2 other toppings. The crust is thin and the portion is very generous for one person, but I did try to eat it all because it was that good! It was also very inexpensive. Please try this humble establishment's pizza, you will not be disappointed.

We loved the fsct that large families with bambinos were there on a Sunday evening and were attracted to the carne alla brace.
The appetizers were very nice and tasty. However our main meal of mixted grilled meats was disappointing. All cuts were sliced too thin snd overcooked. The hit was our contorni of stewed beans-fagiloli- which were very tasty. Il conto with local Garbana wine was reasonable under 70 euros for three people. Pasta was as l as good. We did not trt pizzas but it was popular with locals who were there.

My friends accidentally came across this restuarant 2 months back but having already booked in another restaurant couldn't dine there so last night while we were visiting Orvieto with my friends we decided to try it out. It is located just out side (but nearby) the city centre with a nice big parking.
ALERT!!!!! for indications call the restaurant directly because google after the highway misdirects you to a wrong road.
It is very well kept on the outside and in the summer dinner is served under the great pine trees.
In the winter, as you enter you have a nice big and warm fireplace welcoming you. where they also happen to use to roast and grill meat.
the tables are nicely prepared with tablecloths and roses and candles at the centre!
the place is clean and the waiter is a kind and sweet person, just like his father who is the cook (i guess!)
Even though at first sight it seems like an expensive place don't be fooled because i can guarntee you that the prices are extremely normal, the quality- price is good.

They have put in alot of passion and dedication and you can tell that by their professionality in their service, customer care, friendliness and by their menu selection ( by the way they have hand-bound thier menus out of a special mashed paper!! lovely!

They have really nice home made pasta and excellent wild boar, deer , pheasant and other hunted animals meat. It is their speciality and it is cooked well. They have other specialities which are hard to find in other retaurants so it's fun trying them out. They also have wild mushrooms, truffles and a nice variety of goat cheese.

We were in 7, and we had 3 ravioli with pumpkin filling and wild mushrooms, 1 papardelle pasta with wild boar sauce, 1 pasta with wild deer, 1 soup and 1 grilled meat, pizza, 3 side dishes, 3 desserts, 4 bottles of water, 1 bottle of orvieto classic vine and 4 coffees, all this for hardly 19 euros per person. which is awesome!!

Besides if you have a tight budget there is also a special menu for two otherwise you also have the possibility of eating a nice pizza.

In the end they were not only so nice as to give us a discount but also complimentary digestive limoncello and grappa.
Plus when you see more locals than tourist you know its not a tourist trap and that it is worth trying out!!!

will surely return!

but then it was *very* quiet the night we were in (a Wednesday night mid-June). We all had the house menu, and this started off well with prosciutto topped with a local, very fresh and tasty goats cheese. The rest of the meal was less impressive - OK, I suppose, nothing poor, but nothing exciting. A factory produced rather dreary pannacotta with chocolate or fruit sauce was substituted for the chocolate mousse that was *mi dispiace* not available.
We ate inside, atmosphere OK, it was too cool to eat out, but there are lots of tables outside, and given the right weather, it would probably be great.
The complimentary digestif / grappa etc which appeared when we showed an interest, makes me lift my rating to Very Good.
