I gave a terrible review in 2012. But having been to enzo's this year i must day its a divine place, great vibe and real special experience and dinner out. And the food was good! Enzo is fully redeemed, and i will be back for sure in the future.... If i can get a table! To be recommended and you will not regret it. Just make sure he picks you up!

This is a hard place to find but, worth finding for many reasons. The food is fresh and simple, Robert and his team do a great job at creating the memories and delivering great service. Ate there 2 lunches in a row and it was brilliant. Don't miss it. Best to reserve. Like all great things it comes in a small package !

You will find many excellent places to eat on Ponza Island, however this little gem beats them all when it comes to inherent island style and local cousine. We experienced a romantic yet busy atmosphere. Everyone seems to find themselves a corner here. Some come directly off the beach or some boat adventure, seeing the beauty of the island from the sea. Others have dressed up for a meal for two, families are enjoying a private table in one of the cavelike spaces.Two steps from ancient roman fishing ponds and Frontone Beach, this place once you found it will be a true favourite, and likely you will turn back for more..

Enzo, the owner and energetic creator of the place does not stop for anything, he will make sure the restaurant always serves what the fishermen bring to the harbour early that morning, and will be keeping the bar open late, for those who came for a drink or two! Young, yet experienced and tough, friendly and fiercely dedicated to the art of living on an Island.

Come and see for yourselves, join the locals and the tourists alike returning for a bite and a real pontine experience!

Come by boat, or come on foot...but do find this restaurant! Tucked away on the far side of Spiaggia Frontone, the restaurant has little nooks and crannies perfect for private dining, or take a table in the middle for people watching.
Our merry band of friends voted Solo a Vela as having the best alici marinati on the island...and that's saying something!
While the dishes are classic instead of innovative, they are perfectly executed. Try the pasta with fresh anchovies, and the salty fish balls. Relax, enjoy...you are on holiday!
