We stayed at Casa Fortunata for three nights. The B&B is in a great location, 5 mins to the bus stop and about 10mins walk to the main part of Positano. The room was very clean and spacious, with a lovely view on the balcony area. Ciro was a very helpful and friendly host, available through Whatsapp when we needed any help. Wifi could have been slightly faster, breakfast was standard. There are about 100 steps to the B&B so carrying heavy luggage could be a struggle, overall it was a great stay and good value for somewhere so central in Positano. I would definitely recommend anyone coming to Positano to stay at Casa Fortunata.

Ciro greeted us at the ferry dock and helped carry our bags up the hill and many steps to his Casa Fortunata. He shared many travel tips with us including where to catch the bus and how to get to The Path of the Gods. The space was clean, spacious, and inviting. Wifi worked well, and we were happy to be located just a few steps outside the "touristy" part of Positano. We loved sleeping with the window open at night and hearing the pleasant white noise of a small water fall below. Breakfast was the typical European fare of coffee/tea and croissants plus local yogurt, but Ciro surprised us with fresh eggs, too! Add to the eggs a sprig of wild rosemary from the side of the balcony that meets the hill, perfecto! Ciro was a great host, accessible by phone or What's App, and he has thought of everything when it comes to your accommodations. Affordable stay with a fantastic vista, great location and everything you need to make this your comfortable Positano home away from home. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Casa Fortunata during our visit to Positano. Casa Fortunata felt like a retreat; it is a small apartment with a kitchen, a bath, a small living room area, and a wonderful balcony, with an amazing view. The place looked brand new! (it probably is) It had air conditioned, a tV and Wi-fi, and breakfast items were provided: a coffee machine, bread, jelly, butter, yogurt, and tea- very satisfying. Casa Fortunata is a 5 min. walk from the Sponda SITA bus stop and a 12 min walk toward the tourist/shopping zone of Positano. The fact that Casa Fortunata is "hidden" among the residential Area of Positano makes you feel like you are really experiencing the town. The owner is very nice!! our stay was memorable and we would DEFINITELY stay here again if we return to Positano, and we highly recommend it.
