A week ago four of us visited this restaurant....we were taking our two Italian friends out for a special lunch....what we experienced was the most wonderful Italian cuisine ever..
Antonio is chef and owner and along with his wife made our month long vacation a spectacular ending....he prepared the most wonderful 4 course meal starting with our favorite melanzane, followed by a wooden board of antipasti, then citrus risotto with fresh lemons and oranges...then a pasta dish covered with a huge Parmesan crisp...
4 different types of liquors and la dolce, three delicious types of sweets....
Antonio, you are the best in many ways.....we will miss you and thank you for your personal attention.....HIGLY RECOMMENDED...

This is the real Campania, a little off the beaten path. Our hosts and owners Maria Teresa, manager. and Antonino, chef, treated us as family, addressed us by name, made our experience so pleasant that we returned three times during our week in Colli di Fontanelle. The food was authentic regional cuisine, prepared immaculately, presented perfectly. Some highlights were tuna and kiwi tartar, salmon tartar with yogurt and apple, anchovies two ways, battered and fresh, roasted chicken provencal grown locally, grilled lamb chops, fresh manicotti marinera, sausage and penne in cream sauce, gnocchi gorgonzola, and more. Pasta was fresh and homemade. Fish was always fresh. Desserts are numerous and rich. The wine list was outstanding. We had a 2003 magnum of Chianti Reserve that will be remembered. They prepared a special off the menu dinner for our birthday celebration that was beyond imagination, in a private setting with first class service. Cost was very reasonable. The dining room staff were attentive. The owners toasted us with champagne. This was by far the culinary and social highlight of our week in the region. As you travel from Sorrento to Positano, please stop by here for lunch or dinner. It's right on the way. You won't regret it

We had diner at this restaurant with our two kids. All I can say is that it was a great experience. The food was awesome, big portions. The people were extremely nice, from the server to the cook (who made a special deep fried pizza for our son) all customer focussed. If you are in the neighbourhood this is a must go.

Family run restaurant and a really warm welcome. Very good Italian food, delicious and with generous portions and also very good value. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Many thanks for your kind review, we like in particular the expression "warm welcome": a tradition of our restaurant and, in general, of Southern Italian.

We were looking for a place to eat dinner on the drive back to Sorrento from Positano and happened across this place by accident. The signage and white couches lining the entry way suggested a lively, contemporary space. When we entered the restaurant, it had a different, far more homey, rustic vibe. Not a bad thing, just unexpected. The menu was far more extensive than we expected for being out of the way. We were in the mood for pizza, so stuck to that plus a salad. We also had a bottle of local red. Service was super attentive and friendly-I think the place was family-run. The pizzas were large and had great toppings. We were served complimentary homemade limoncello, which was quite nice. Prices were very reasonable. All in all, a pleasant meal in a nice setting, made all the nicer by the wonderful staff. I would come back again just to say hello and try some other items on the menu.
