A nice find on the run back from St Christina. Stopped for lunch and sat outside as the sun was out! Was quite busy when we arrived but lucky with timing as a party just left so we were able to get a table for our group. A basket of assorted bread put on the table. Lots of choices on the menu and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. As is the norm, WCs are downstairs.

You’re NOT allowed (!) to order an espresso with the guy behind the espresso machine (who was waiting for orders to come in). You MUST sit down and wait for your order (=espresso) to arrive...
Upon entering you’re being asked ‘which language’... sorry?
Kaiserschmarren is only served áfter lunch... just so you know!
To top it off: the restrooms are OUTSIDE. Só nice when it’s snowing. Just go outside, go down a stair and yeah there is a restroom.
There are múch better and customer friendlier places on the slopes.

Came here for a pit stop during skiing. A charming wooden clad building with plenty of seating outside and warm and toasty inside. Seemed a popular venue and the hot chocolate hit the spot!

On our last day skiing we were worried that this restaurant would be too close to the beaten (skied) track to be good, but we were wrong. Efficient kitchens and a pleasant waiter brought us delicious goulash soup and spinach dumplings which kept us going for our last afternoon on the slopes. Two regrets: we were too full to try the sweet 'Germ knodel' which looked very good, but very filling, and we were too early to have the kaiserschmarrn, which is only served after 3pm. Maybe next year! (Loved the waiters' lederhosen)
