Just because you have a wood decor doesn't make you Scottish or even Irish. One Irish beer on tap. Menu is heavy on burger and fries. English menu is not up-to-date. The first 2 or 3 beers we asked for ... sorry we don't carry. Attitude of service staff is "local" friendly. If you're a tourist ... don't waste an evening.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on Murphy's Law Pub on the way to coast as we heard good things. We were not disappointed. If you love meat, this is the place to eat it! The portions were massive, the price low and the variety of beers extensive. I recommend to anyone wanting a change from the average Italian restaurant.

So I LOVE Italian food. I could live off just Italian food. However, after 12 days eating Italian food my kids were craving good 'ol beef. This is a great place for it. Getting there is half the fun! You have to drive up this very narrow two-way, but only wide enough for one, road that connects directly off the main Amalfi Coast road (SS145 on Google maps). Headed South you will probably miss it.

They have good food with very large portions. They have wood burning hearths that were going when we were there (January). They have TV screens that were showing the football games and lots of enthusiastic cheering by the locals that were in the pub. The service was a little slow but the reservation via TripAdvisor worked like a charm. Great place for some good 'ol comfort food / pub grub.

The pub has tasty food and beer and cozy interior. We spent here a pleasant evening here after a busy day. It seemed to us that the pub is a rarity in these area, so there were a lot of visitors who come from nearby towns.

We had a long drive behind us and wanted something quick to eat. 10pm. Looked a great place. Next door to our hotel. Expected some people to be Scottish being named 'Scottish Pub' there was nothing Scottish about this place at all, looked like pub but that's where it stops. Food was dreadful. Waiters were lacking in customer service skills. Waited 1 and a half hours the first time. The second time we arrived at 8pm. Took 30 minutes to take our order, and that was only the drinks order! The food was well below stand and not what we ordered, not sure how roast chicken and chips become lost in translation as we got 2 skinner fillets grilled and crisps! but because of the language barrier they didn't understand what we were saying. Maybe that was their way of dealing with issues! The third time, hoping it was going to be lucky was definitely not! Last night in the Coast and another miserable meal. We ordered 2 burgers and a panini for our young son. When they arrived they all looked the same. 3 great big burger buns! We said that wasn't a panini but again they shrug and say yes it is. Note to Murphy's! Whoever owns this place is missing a massive opportunity the place was amazing. The place could be amazing. The staff appalling. The food was substandard. Low lighting doesn't allow you to see what exactly you are eating but generally I think if it dosent taste good then that's as far as you need to go with it. I asked at the end of my meal for a dessert. They were all frozen desserts. How hard is it to homemake a tiramisu! I can whip one up in 20 minutes! Such a massive potential for this place. What a shame. Have you heard of Gordon Ramsey? You need to call him. Also couldn't understand why the bill was called up at 48 euros but they gave a receipt and I paid 38. Something not quiet right there somehow.... Bottom line. Don't expect this to be a Scottish Pub!! Far from it...
