We booked a cooking class for my husband, 16 year old daughter and I with just 36 hours notice and had a fantastic time. Marinella, the charming owner was lovely and accommodated our vegetarian requests (our daughter and I are vegetarian while my husband eats everything!) immediately despite the short notice given. In three hours, we made homemade pasta including ravioli with ricotta and spinach, spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce, veal tonnato, Tuscan ratatouille and a deliciously light chocolate and pear cake under the expert guidance of Jeta, our charming cooking teacher. It was a completely hands on experience and we made dinner for 12, including the other guests in the B & B and ourselves and all ate together afterwards with free flowing local wine and animated conversation with the other delightful couple who were in our class. The setting is stunning, the cooking and dinner take place in a converted 12th century
chapel and our 5 hours spent there at a cost of €100 per head (which included a recipe book and apron ) were the highlight of our short break in Tuscany!More
