Grant cottage was so quiet and peaceful. The gardens were lovely and the cottage comfortable and cosy. It was some distance from Drumnadrochit for a good supermarket. But an excellent cottage

“Best holiday ever!”
Reviewed 12 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed at Grant Cottage for a week beginning of June and safe to say we chose the right cottage! It was clean and tidy in a lovely location. The wildlife was beautiful, it was always nice to open the curtains at breakfast to see lots of different birds on the bird table. We were lucky enough to even see the Pine Martin a few nights (bring lots of jam!). There are lots of activities in the area, our favourite being Urquhart Castle and Plodda Falls which are only down the road. Lots of beautiful walks so bring some comfy boots! Thank you for having us, we most definitely will be returning :)

Thank you James for taking the time to write the review. We are so please you both enjoyed you're stay here and you also managed to see the Pine Marten (as you say he loves his bread and jam, and what a fabulous photograph you got of him.) We look forward to welcoming you to Grant Cottage in the future.
Regards
Andrew and Catherine.

“Great wee cottage”
Reviewed 25 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Spent 4 days at Grant Cottage a couple of weeks ago with my brother; we used it as a base to explore the glorious Highlands on our motorbikes. It met all our needs perfectly. Clean & comfortable, and set in a beautiful peaceful location. We would not hesitate returning, or recommending to others. The owner Andrew was both friendly and helpful.

“wonderful cottage, children friendly”

wonderful cottage, children friendly.
Andrew and Catherine were really helpful. my Husband, 4yr old daughter and myself were spending a few days at the cottage. we enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable cottage. Andrew provided our daughter an air bed to put down in the master bed room and also provided loads of toys and books for her to play and we did not have to get them all the way from London. we had vodafone ad EE and neither phones had signal. would have been wonderful if the property had wifi. well located not far from inverness and fort william. we were celebrating my husband birthday and andrew was kind to recommend bakers etc.

“clean, comfortable, and well equipped in great surroundings”
Reviewed 4 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Our family stayed for a midweek break in March '16, the cottage is beautiful and is immaculately clean with quality bedding, pillows, towels, furnishings etc It is so well stocked with everything from board games and dvds (although the dvd player is rather noisy and I think is likely to stop working pretty soon) to fruit bowls, dish washer tablets etc There is a very helpful guest handbook, explaining everything and giving ideas for days out. The bird table being directly infant of dining area was wonderful , and we saw so many different birds from little robin redbreasts to wood peckers. So bring some bird food , fat balls with you. We were also incredibly lucky to watch a pine marten eat our jam pieces every night from the picnic table. If you want to stay in the area of Loch Ness, I wouldn't look any further than this cottage, it really has absolutely everything you could possibly want from a rental holiday home and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. (If I was to nit pick - one of my daughters is disabled and struggles with balance , so a bath mat would of been handy in the bathroom and a few slabbing stones from car spot to front door would of been helpful)
