We walked by this restaurant twice and chose to dine elsewhere for two night (judging by the price and decor). It seemed expensive for how it appeared to be decorated. The furniture and decor seemed very inexpensive yet the menu had prices of a more formal, high-quality level. On Monday night, it was the only game in town so we decided to try it out. What a blessing. The food is prepared by the owner who grew up in Italy. The food is consistent with some of the best Italian food we've had, including meals in Italy. One of our party had pasta carabonara. It was simply outstanding. Another had pizza, which is typically not super exciting, but this combination of perfect crust, homemade sauce and ample toppings was impressive. Our other two seafood entrees were deliciously satisfying and exceeded all expectations. Although we think this restaurant would benefit greatly from some updated and upgraded decor, the service and food were outstanding. A classic lesson in "don't just a book by it's cover."
