We were a group of eight including two children. We visited Chez Italo on two separate occasions and had a really nice meal on each occasion. The owners were very nice and helped us with our limited French each time. I wouldn't say it was expensive, with most dishes around 8 to 12 euros, some obviously more expensive, but, plenty in our price range.
If we had to complain about anything it would be the limited menu which was more suited to the French and fishy folk, most of our party didn't like seafood, so some chicken on the menu would be nice.

If we visit Langrune-sur-mar next year, I would definitely pay Chez Italo again (and hopefully have the chicken!!)

The food was good, and we would have gone back another night, except that the service was difficult (to put it mildly). One child wanted a pizza with just olives, but there is no pizza with just olives on the menu so you can't have a pizza that way. We were finally able to get a pizza with just olives by ordering a pizza with fish and olives (on the menu) and asking them to hold the fish! Really, that was the only way to get a pizza that way.

We walked by this restaurant twice and chose to dine elsewhere for two night (judging by the price and decor). It seemed expensive for how it appeared to be decorated. The furniture and decor seemed very inexpensive yet the menu had prices of a more formal, high-quality level. On Monday night, it was the only game in town so we decided to try it out. What a blessing. The food is prepared by the owner who grew up in Italy. The food is consistent with some of the best Italian food we've had, including meals in Italy. One of our party had pasta carabonara. It was simply outstanding. Another had pizza, which is typically not super exciting, but this combination of perfect crust, homemade sauce and ample toppings was impressive. Our other two seafood entrees were deliciously satisfying and exceeded all expectations. Although we think this restaurant would benefit greatly from some updated and upgraded decor, the service and food were outstanding. A classic lesson in "don't just a book by it's cover."

I visit this restaurant every May and June whilst filming the D-Day beaches for battlefieldvideo.com, the owners are delightful and full of fun. Hailing originally from Italy the chef/owner is a jazz lover, and on many Sunday mornings provides a live band.
The cuisine is Italo-Francaise and is excellent. The restaurant is right on the beach (Juno)
and provides excellent fresh sea food as well as the traditional foods. It is easy to spot this location whilst driving parallel with the beach as the outside is festooned with flags

We stopped for lunch here & my husband ordered the fresh scallops (recommended by the chef/owner) - I had a perfectly made salad nicoise. The chef was obviously very proud of his food & gave us little tasters of various other dishes he was making. The food was very good, but we felt it was rather overpriced.
