The hotel is in three buildings, and the better rooms are probably in the original nineteenth century house facing the street. Fair sized bedroom (for Paris) - but no room for chairs so just a pouffe to sit on. Big bathroom with nice old bath. Pleasant communal sitting room. No obvious street noise, and generally quiet despite some creaking floorboards. Beds comfortable. Fair but somewhat uninspiring choice at breakfast buffet - served in a glass-covered corridor facing a small garden (or in the garden in good weather). Free little pastries when we popped in mid-afternoon. Helpful staff.
