We were looking for a rental for 10 days in September for our honeymoon. We had been to the resort before and knew the lay out which help in choosing this place.
Of course Trip Adviser was the foundation for our search and as this apartment had a significant number of reviews all which were balanced it made it is to make the approach.
The owners responded very promptly in French but Google translate did its bit. We were able to explain our requirements, clarify our dates and the rental was agreed. It felt better being secured through Trip Adviser as were had read several cancellation horror stories on other popular BNB sites!
Were exchanges several email customizing our requirements with time of arrival and linen.
We exchanged text messages on landing at the airport which did not work too well but emails were responded to within seconds so we headed to meet the owners.
The language barrier was a problem, ours in fairness, but we got through and found it very clean with a brand new kitchen and all the appliances we needed.
There was more than enough storage space and the two balconies allowed one for eating and drinking and the other for drying our clothes or towels.
The separate toilet was a god send when one of us was using the large shower.
There was more than enough crockery, glasses etc so we were able to use the dishwasher to full potential.
We were concerned that tere was no parking but as the owner had said on street parking was easy and we could see a fail back of a public car park less than 100 metres away. We never had a problem but I guess July and August may be different. You would have to take that into account.
You are very close to mole beach and similar distance to the Marina with various shops or bars on the way.
The best bits were the size of the apartment. There is loads of room.
The bed we used was very comfy and the evenings were nice watching the sun set with a G and T!
The owners were prompt with responses and could not have done more to make our stay special. Thank you for the bottle of fizz!
Things were had not accounted for was no air conditioning. Now we knew this was the case but as the weather was warm and the was very still all the windows and shutters had to be left open. Not sure how we would have coped in mid summer when 35 degrees plus was experienced.
One other was the scary prospect of loosing the one main key as there was only one which you had to have in your pocket before leaving. If the door closed without the key you were proper stuck!
A spare key would have been useful as my wife, went out running and I had to remain in or only pop out for a short time.
All in all its a great place and we would recommend to others.
This two bedroom apartment is spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need.
It is perfectly located within minutes of dozens of restaurants, bars and cafés. If you're travelling by train, the bus from Gare Agde costs 1€ and brings you to within 50m of the doorstep.
I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to explore and enjoy all that Cap D'Agde has to offer.
Great location with an array of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Apartment itself is very spacious and modern with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. There are two very comfortable bedrooms and a well kept pool. Balcony overlooks pool and area is quiet at night. We would certainly come back to this lovely apartment.
