The best part of our trip is the tour guide -- Bohan, who took care of everything, from logistic to accommodation, jungle trekking to chatting/cultural exchange after dinner.
The chalet is nice and cozy, and with ample space to put our stuff and hang our clothes. It was nice to shower in the bathroom which has a window view of the nature. The weather was good so we didn't find going to the detached bathroom annoying or inconvenient. Each chalet has a painting/art piece next to the door, which shows the artistic sense of the owner.
The bamboo lunch box is very unique and sustainable. Each one of us carried our bamboo lunch box to jungle trekking and had our lunch at the waterfall after a refreshing time in the cool water.
The resort is built and run sustainably. It is so good to see tourism operators who have sustainable mindset and don't consume/pollute our jungle for the sake of money.
We saw a blooming rafflesia, several species of eagles, hornbills, heron, lantern bug, centipede, etc. There is so much more to explore and learn from the 130 million years rainforest.More
