The food was OK
The rooms were outdated
Not so pleasant
Loads of flies
But their breakfast was great
We stayed as a large group overnight
The pub over there was fine
The Oasis styled location is very nice.

We stayed one night with couple of friends
The location is very nice in the middle of a desert but the rooms are small, the shower is too small with a plastic curtain and the shower room is tiny, so is the bath room. The breakfast nice but not more, too expensive

I stayed at the "Vered Hamidbar mini suite". NOTE: The images on the ordering web site do not always match the actual rooms...
For 512 nis for two, you get a compact functional air-conditioned double room, a lounge with two folding couch/beds, a shaded terrace, bathe/shower/toilet room and a tiny kitchenette.
It is clean but the air-condition temperature could not be adjusted, the beautiful terrace had lots of flies (possibly from two jiand garbage containers beside the parking lot.
Two suites tested, had the same opening key and locking from inside would not prevent your neighbor entering by mistake....
The vegetation around the suits and the Kibbutz grounds, is beautiful and perfect for children on bicycles.
Breakfast was a nice Israeli breakfast, though no fresh fruit.

Nice and quiet, small accommodations and in Nov there is biting bugs. The beds are the smallest I have ever seen. I stand 6"10" and that was one bad night of sleep. Food was fair and plenty. Barely had hot water and a bit of a walk to the Dead Sea. The beach for the Dead Sea in on a slope and once in the water the mud it super thick. So if you have disabilities this could be a real challenge. It reminded me of camp as a kid, small dorm rooms with a cafeteria. Wifi was available but you have to ask it is not given.

Room Tip: Ensure the window has a screen because the little bug bites itch.

Old fashioned tatty rooms, wildly overpriced. Very poor food. Ghastly Dead Sea Beach. Quite the worst place we have been at for decades. I would not normally write a review like this, and in fact hate doing so, but there are almost no redeeming features, particularly at the prices we paid.

Many great places to stay in Israel, but this 'hotel' is a disgrace. Should be closed down.

Room Tip: The cow sheds are close and the smell around our rooms was very unpleasant! You can get a good room by going elsewhere!
