Certainly the best meat restaurant I have been to in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The owner specializes exclusively in serving "chianina" meat - the purest of beef with the lowest fat content from Tuscany. By purchasing the entire creature, each evening there is a theme night concentrating on a particular cut/area of beef.
The day we went we were served from raw and tartar to the grill. Several dishes were served in between and ended with what I should define as the finest "fiorentina" I've eaten. All this served with excellent wines to match.
What can one say. When you see such passion put into food you know you are onto a good thing.
And by the way...... the the owner is an expert on The Who and has worked with the BBC regarding the band!!
