My son is management now and the loveliest boy you could meet. So keep up with the structure of the business if you want to make reviews up like this. I’m just starting a new business but will be back soon. So come on down

I have yet to visit in the evening but have enjoyed brunch and Sunday dinner here.
It is marketed as a fish restaurant but don't dismiss it as it serves lots of different foods .... for example brekky ..... excellent place to watch the world go by sat in the window, the coffee is really good and the quality of the ingredients shines through.
Sunday dinner here is always good, nice if you want more than a pub, this delivers a more restaurant feel to your Sunday afternoon. The food is lovely and there is lots of it.

Visiting relatives in rural London can be a challenge when it comes to eating. Play safe and go where your aunt wants!! She picked this place (excuse the pun) and none of us were disappointed. Personally the batter on the fish made the plate look huge but it reality it was so light it was not too big after all.
Great choice of desserts too!!

My mum arranged for a family meal at Catch for her 70th birthday based on a previous visit, being a large group we took a while to assemble. During this time the staff were pleasant and drinks were served. Once everyone had arrived the staff were extremely quick to take our order, so quick you got the feeling they wanted to table cleared as soon as possible, however this proved not to be the case, the restaurant was not overly busy however each course took an age to appear. Once the food appeared the general opinion was the food was good quality, except for the seafood pasta. Catch is a restaurant that serves up good food but from our experience the service doesn't match.

There are lots of Restaurants in Queens Road and this one shouldn't be here. No front of house we had to wait until staff finished their personal chat to seat us. It wasn't busy but we had difficulty attracting staff who were all about 14 years old. Not attentive at all. Had to ask for clean cutlery for each course as they expected you to use the same set throughout. Food took forever, so did soft drinks to be fair! What appeared to be the head waiter was more interested in giving his girlfriend/buddy free food and drinks and chatting her up than serving us. Nice decor but now quite tired looking. Whole place lacked something. Staff not once asked if everything was okay....no attention to detail or service at all. Food was okay, when it eventually arrived, nothing special and very small portions. Beware main courses come with garnish only and no one tells you that. £80 for 2 with no alcohol not the best value. Toilets are opposite the kitchen downstairs and the kitchen door is open so be prepared to leave with your clothes reeking of fish as it wafts up to the restaurant. We won't be returning.

After reading your other reviews for other locations demanding "AVOID" I can truly say that I'm glad I never left the hospital when my son phoned to say that a customer was being awkward. My son is 19 and a lovely polite young man so when he read the review it wasn't just my business you were attacking. Also our toilets are at least 30 yards from where any cooking takes place , also there is a 6 yards from door to door and there are many restaurants that have the kitchen on the same level as the dining area. I'm glad you liked the food and I hope you also noticed how clean the toilets were and I look forward to seeing your toilet selfie on social media soon.
