The hotel location is a little different to get to, but worth the find. Don't use your GPS to get to the front door or you'll be driving in a pedestrian zone when you do.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay a nice one. The breakfast offering is excellent and they will even do made to order eggs upon request. The woman that co-runs the hotel makes her own jams and they are out of this world good (we bought some to bring home with us).
The hotel offers both covered secure parking (5 Euros per day) and open free parking and has wifi on site. They are within six minutes walking of the center of town from dining and shopping.

Room tip: No elevator. The higher the room, the better the view, but the further to lump the luggage.

We made a quick stop in this hotel on our way home from five weeks touring Europe by car. Not only did we find a nice town, but also an extremely charming and friendly hotel. The couple who run the place could not have been nicer. While we went to pick up our luggage from the nearby parking lot (free of charge) they placed a small heart on our pillow. A welcome greeting in our own language and an added slice of chocolate. Just these small simple extra things... Our room was fairly small and cannot have been refurbished for a long time, but it was far from run down. The small garden outside our room must be great in summer. The old timber framed buildings of the hotel and the surroundings gave an extra touch to the hotel. There is no traffic and no noise in the area although it is only a few minutes nice walk to get to town.

I stayed there for one night end of July and really enjoyed this place. It is set away from the main roads in a quite cobbled street only a short walk from the town centre. We had a lovely breakfast and the staff was very accommodating. I would stay in this hotel next time I come to Celle!

Helpful staff. Good food. Clean and recently refurbished room.
Pleasant garden. Parking off street for motorcycles.

Don't follow sat nav. It takes you to a pedestrianised street. Look at the map when you put the address in and pick a point close to the hotel to the South West where there is parking for cars.

My wife and I booked this hotel from the reviews that we read on trip advisor . We booked two rooms for my wife and I , and our great friends Stretch &Di .
We made the decision to drive over and after a long journey was greeted with the hidden gem in Celle .The Hotel is situated on a very quite pedestrian boulevard only 5 minutes walk to the historic and pictures town. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our rooms , if you like comfortable beds ,large rooms and immaculately clean accommodation look no further because you wont be disappointed .
The Hotel is small but personal and the hospitality shown could not be replicated by any of your big chain Hotels .
We decided to have the breakfast for a small charge and was not disappointed with the selection of cereals , breads ,jams ,meats ,cheeses ,yogurt's with even the offer of eggs cooked to our choice .
We left after a fantastic weekend with a small gift given to us all on booking out ( chocolate ) , I must say that I have never had that before . Celle is a beautiful old town and has a beautiful Hotel to match in the hotel St Georg . Thank you for a wonderful stay made all the more memorable by your hospitality from two old soldiers and our lovely wife's .
