Very nice, cosy and quiet hotel. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, very helpful receptionist, near the centre, close to everything. Has a sauna and a steambath. Good WIFI. Enjoyed every time I stayed there

Not to recommend to visitors from abroad with small children and the risk, that the child "leaves" something in bed or on floor. All extra cleaning will be charged with big amounts. No advice by comparison with international hotels!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights.
Clean comfortable room. Another chair for a second person would have been great. WiFi available. Password required for every device. Annoying relogin every time you use the device. Sometimes patchy. All in all serviceable.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Smiles all round.
Breakfast buffet style with all the coffee you want. Good selection to suit all tastes and dispositions.
You can sit outside and have coffee.
24-hour service.
Right in the centre of town. Close to public transport. A few minutes' walk from the castle and the medieval old town.
Our room was quiet. Windows can be opened safely at night. Lots of informative literature in the foyer. Staff very ready to help with questions.
I can imagine this hotel would be a great base for a day hiking holiday. It's on the edge of the Black Forest.
Our plan is to return and do this.
I can unequivocally recommend this hotel.
€115 per night when we were there.
Well worth every cent.

Great value, English speaking desk workers that were very helpful and friendly, GREAT included breakfast with great coffee and specialty coffees, special meat and cheeses on wonderful breads, various yogurts, fruits, nuts, juices, cereals, boiled eggs. Found no better breakfast during our 2 weeks stay in Germany. My husband and I stayed here a total of 4 nights. Street noise can be heard a bit, rooms clean, friendly staff, beds comfortable although no sheets ( but even the finest hotels in Germany don't have sheets), just duvets. The duvets are comfortable when chilled but you can overheat and that's when just a sheet would be nice. (Bring your own if you want one in all of Germany!) The beds are two separate mattresses put together for double occupancy, again, this is a "German" thing and is the same all over Germany. The hotel is placed among some great bakeries, restaurants and fine shopping, all in easy walking distance. Took tram from a couple blocks from hotel to Zoo one day also. Tram is about 4 Euros one way or about 7 both ways. Keys are regular metal keys that you turn in to front desk before you go out for the day and then pick back up when re-entering the hotel....a little difficult to lock and unlock doors, but this is one of my favorite places we stayed while in Germany for 2 weeks, including some higher end hotels.
