This is a lovely small hotel well placed if you are touring the Berlin Copenhagen cycle route. There is a garage for bicycles. Room was spacious and comfortable , it overlooked the courtyard used for dinning so got a bit smokey when the outside wood fire oven was first lit, but not for long. Breakfast buffet was good but quite a small area was in use
Stopped for one night at Hotel Weinburg while cycling from Copenhagen to Berlin. Our first stop in Germany, tired after a hot day's travelling. We were greeted warmly and our room was airy and very clean. The service was extremely pleasant throughout our brief stay with every effort made to accommodate our lack of German. The restaurant provided a more than decent meal, thoughtfully presented, with our host taking the trouble to translate the dishes on the menu for us. Breakfast the following morning was excellent. For other cyclists on the Copenhagen-Berlin Radweg don't look for anywhere else to stay in Gustrow. This is a very good, value for money hotel right on the cycle path. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
