Been staying at Hinrichsen a couple of times for work now and it is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Husum so far.
Close to the city center with clean rooms and very friendly staff.
Breakfast buffet is well stocked and varied and it’s easy to get the waiters attention.

Everything, including private parking, worked out as forseen. Hotel is close to the oldtown center. Breakfast is very rich and varied. Service is without flaws. Only negative point is the absence of an elevator.

Room tip: If you have walking problems, take the lower floors- no elevator

Had to stay here for two nights for a business meeting, and was relieved to find it had a large car park out back, but can be difficult to find forst time as the archway is well hidden. I'm sure it can get busy in summer, but at the end of September, there was plenty of space.

Good sized rooms with decent wi fi, clean and friendly. Varied breakfast and has a bar, though I did not use it.

A great hotel to use when staying in the town and exploring.

We had booked this hotel including car parking so were very disappointed on arrival to learn that the car park was full. They did not seem to see a problem with taking pre-bookings for parking and then not actually having any parking. The initial advice was to drive 500 metres down the street and look for free parking but no parking was available due to an ongoing event. In the end they suggested we parked illegally outside the hotel and partly on the pavement which we accepted when they confirmed they would pay any possible penalty.

Once in the hotel we found that there was no lift to the rooms. Fortunately, we were only on the first floor so it was not too bad and the staff were offering to carry our bags. The room was very nice and modern with a good bed and a similarly good shower.

No air conditioning was available so we had to leave the windows open. Several people have described the place as quiet but our room faced the street and due to an ongoing even in the town, it was certainly not quiet on this occasion.

Breakfast was reasonably good though the breakfast room was very busy at the time we chose for our breakfast.

Check-out took longer than expected as we had to wait for other customers complaining about the parking situation.

Room tip: Try to get room away from street and beware that there is no lift available
