Booked the last room in Champery for a two night stay on a skiing weekend. Pricey but turned out to be a good choice. The hotel was really atmospheric and the staff super friendly and nice. Room was big and very comfortable, but furnishing was a bit tired. Breakfast is simply ok (although i have a suspicion that the coffee was instant). The afternoon tea and cakes are a very welcome plus after a long day at the slopes. The bar is also a great choice for some apres ski fun. All in all would book it again.

Room tip: Walking to the ski lift is a bit of schlep. There’s a shuttle “little train” calling outside the hotel. But annoyingly doesn’t run after 17h

Lovely, small hotel in a central village location. Rooms were clean, comfortable and sufficient for our requirements. The complimentary, freshly baked cakes and tarts for afternoon tea were an enjoyable treat which will be missed! The staff were just so friendly and helpful, always smiling. They handled all our lift passes, transfers and ski hire (ski shop next door) which made our short break run smootlhy. There were 14 of us so it was no easy task! ...Recommended!

Such a friendly hotel. All the staff were great and happy to help with anything from arranging airport transfers to recommending and booking restaurants for you.
Special thank you to Lara & Camille.
A fantastic hotel that felt like home. We cannot recommend it enough. Great wee place

Room tip: There's no kettle in room, but there's free tea of every type from 4pm to 6pm every day in winter. Also home made cakes.

This is a charming hotel with the most friendly staff and great service. Before we arrived our email queries were answered swiftly. Our room on the mountain side had a lovely view. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Afternoon tea after a day skiing with different home made cakes , tarts and biscuits was delightful. Great location for skiing as there is a ski hire shop next door and a little road train to the gondola which takes 5 minutes and stops outside.
