The hotel is located in the heart of Sils Maria, approx 35 minutes by car from Saint Moritz.
The reception staff and overall service is professional, efficient and kind.
The hotel infrastructures are just OK, rooms are old fashion with no charm, a little vintage on the bath/shower side.
I would not recommend this hotel if looking for a real 4 stars hotel. I would recommend it for laid back and easy going vacations, to families or group of friends.
It is not romantic, the view is insignificant. It really lacks of charm.

We stayed for a few days in December 2016. Unacceptable and extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming. The stay started out okay but ended with a very bad, disappointing and expensive service. We will never go back to Hotel Post although we have been going to Sils since over 20 years...

We spent a couple of days over Christmas at this hotel. The room was tiny - barely enough for 2 adults. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Even though it was 'included' in the price of our stay, eggs were an additional charge. Be warned about the car park - choose the $0 excess on your rental or you will need the help of one other person to spot the walls as you enter and exit the garage. It is near impossible to manage on your own due to the tightness and lack of lighting. A real nightmare.

The restaurant will set you back as much as many other restaurants in the heart of St Moritz, despite being away from the heart of town or having any real views. Our meals were average and very much overpriced.

The only positives about this hotel were 1. The price was cheaper than almost all other 4 star hotels within the area and 2. The bus stop is out the front of the hotel, making it very convenient to get to the ski slopes or into town.

We booked via Booking.com and paid in full months in advance. Despite this, the hotel requested more money due to the exchange rate between AUD and CHF resulting in a loss on their behalf.

All in all, if you are looking at hotel because of price (being cheaper than other hotels in the area), keep in mind that there is no reasonably priced restaurants or activities in the area. Be prepared to spend big dollars for the same food that is half of the price just across the border. Why? Because it is St. Moritz

We stayed in the holiday flat, at the topfloor of the hotel and had a perfect stay.
There are quite a lot of stairs to be done to reach the flat, but it's worth it.
The flat is huge with 3 generous bedrooms (the bed in the single bedroom wasn't comfortable and could do with a change), 2 bathrooms (shower and jacuzzi bathtub), a big & very well equiped kitchen and spacious living/diningroom. The style is design but warm. A lot of wood and natural light. The balcony was the perfect spot to have breakfast in the sun.
It's smack in the middle of the town, everything reachable by foot.
The wellnessarea was fine, relaxing and well equiped.
The staff helped us with everything we needed.
So, if you're looking for more than a room in a hotel, take a look at this gorgeous flat.

We spent there our long weekend. Please is clean, well organized. Breakfast veraity is not big, but tasty. Rooms are simple, but clean. Had a dinner in the hotel Restaurant. avarage, and very expensive wine. Wine is the same as they sell in local COOP near by, but costs 10 times more. What we really did not like is a behaviour of reception staff. They tried to smile, but were very stressed. Another not nice Thing: parking. We have been told that , if we have a car they have a space for us, gave us a Special Card and asked to park a car in a local Underground parking area, from where you have to walk back. surprisingly upon the chek out we have been asked to pay 22 CHF for 2 nights parking!!!!!!!! Very new Information for us. And to underline, you can park for free on several slopts around the town. And town is a safe place. A drop of frustration after the check out.
