“Nice apartment, awful service”
Reviewed 2 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The apartment was nice and pleasant, but the service was awful!
we had a delay in our flight to Geneva, and updated the owner accordingly. when we arrived to the apartment at 2:00 am (due to the delay), no one was there to give us the key. we only had a cell number of the owner's representative who doesn't know English at all. When we call her she was mad that we wake up her family and was yelling (in French...) why we came so late (although we told her about our delay). in the apartment we didn't find the fifth bed (as was booked and approved by the owner) and had to use the uncomfortable folding bed !
When we left the apartment, we were supposed to receive our deposit back in 10 days. we didn't receive it until we sent her couple of E-mails, and call her to ask the deposit back. even in the phone she was awful and complained about our arrival time.
Not recommended at all!

Management Response
3 Nov 2015
I'm glad you liked our apartment although I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your late night/delayed arrival.

We do ask all our guests to arrive before 8pm and to let our wonderful housekeeper know directly if they are delayed. I'm afraid she had been waiting for you to contact her but had not heard from you so (quite reasonably) went to bed. I imagine it was a shock to hear from you at 2am but I'm sure she did her best to get you installed regardless. She doesn't speak English unfortunately, but we are clear about this in the information we send our guests, and we can translate if required (although at 2am that may have been difficult!)

Our holiday apartment is a home from home, not a hotel, and we are unable to operate like one with a reception open 24hrs a day.

The folding bed is clearly specified as such, and in my view, and the majority of our guests, is actually quite comfortable for a child.

Your deposit being returned 'slowly' is due to the Trip Advisor system not advising me of the same date it gave you.

This is our first complaint in over 7 years of renting this apartment to hundreds of happy holidaymakers, so I guess we can't be that bad!

“First class location”

1st class, smart apartment with everything for one's comfort. Comfortable beds, excellent kitchen, large open plan living/dining area. Everything was very clean and modern. Good outdoor terrace with double doors from each room onto same. Outdoor dining furniture provided. Could not fault this apartment. 2 minutes walk to train station, supermarket, restaurants and on the main street. Information provided by the owner was very thorough and helpful. We used the indoor pool and sauna once and also the local outdoor pool at the town Sports Centre. Les Diablerets is a small, peaceful place to stay for a hiking holiday, surrounded by mountains. Main attraction is Glacier 3000 which is so very good.

Very nice, clean and spacious apt. Kitchen and bathroom is well appointed with modern appliances and fixtures. Ground floor location is nice. Very charming village in the heart of a wide valley with no tourist busses! This is a great place to relax as well get engaged in a miriad of outdoor activities.
Glacier 3000 is a fun place that is open year 'round. Apt. has comfortable beds and furniture. The underground parking, indoor pool with sauna and laundry facilities are a big
bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent apartment in very convenient location”
Reviewed 29 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

The apartment was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. The pictures do not do this apartment justice - it is much nicer than the online pictures imply. We travelled as a family, two adults and two small children, and we highly recommend this place.

“Near perfect choice”
Reviewed 23 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Holidaying with wife and severely disabled daughter can be a daunting prospect. We weren't looking for special adaptations, but do need wheelchair access; this apartment provided us with plenty of space on the level in stupendous surroundings. Our daughter was able to lie on her bed looking at the mountains. The only home comfort we missed was a microwave. Convenient for shops, station, bus, restaurants etc.
