“Just perfect - go and stay there!”
Reviewed 4 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This is the second time we've come to Digby Granary and are still feeling bad about not giving a five-star Tripadvisor review after the first visit.

All we can say is that this is the perfect place to stay. The place is spotless, the bathroom with its copper bath is positively decadent (with fluffy towels, bath bombes and bathrobes), the kitchen has all the basics you need (like oil, salt and pepper). Just go there - but don't spread it around too much!

“Just Lovely!”
Reviewed 25 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

This is an amazinging property. A real getaway. Beautifully done out with all you could need and a lovely little welcome basket. It is well equipt with a log burner which really heats up the place. Washing machine if you need it, microwave and a coffee machine which makes very nice coffee. The bedroom is a wow factor and the bathroom is huge with an amazing freestanding copper bath. The view from the back of the property is of open fields with horses, a chicken and ducks in a pond. It is in a very quiet little village with only a church and a pub. The pub is nice and very friendly and serves food. Linda the owner of the cottage is lovely and even came to pick us up after we got stranded at the train station. Thanks Linda! It is bad for phone receiption but it was nice not to be bothered with calls and texts and the internet.
We would definitely recommend this place for a rural retreat and would love to go back.

“The Granary - Superb 5 Star Accommodation”
Reviewed 17 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

I think every superlative has already been used to describe The Granary, but I can only wholeheartedly agree with them, and just add that this beautifully renovated and refurbished building is an absolute credit to Linda and Jim, the owners. Everything that could make for an extra special stay has been thought of and some! Quality fixtures and fittings throughout make for a very luxurious and pampered experience, with the amazing copper bath and bath bombs being a special memory. The Welcome Basket on arrival with Lincolnshire Plum Bread and other local goodies definitely set the tone, and my wife and I were very sad indeed to have to leave this lovely bolt-hole behind when the time came to go. Whilst we have already recommended to both family and friends, this has been with slight trepidation, for it is almost too good to share!
When venturing out and about a little circular walk around the village of Scopwick was nice, Woodhall Spa is a must with the trail worth following. Fabulous food is to be found in the Woodhall Spa Bakery/Deli and do visit the Petwood Hotel, the former Officers Mess of 617 Dambusters Squadron. The town of Louth on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds was also rather nice with many independent shops. In Lincoln itself a suggestion would be to head for the Cathedral quarter near the Castle and make sure you walk both down and up Steep Hill, stopping at Bunty's Tearoom room for well earned refreshment - delicious sandwiches, tea and cake to be had.
