This lovely family home is set in natural parkland with very easy access to the centre of Albi. Madame provides a charming welcome as do the rest of her staff.
The decor throughout the grand house is really lovely, authentic shabby chic style done with restraint and taste and using all sorts of antique finds, so that the atmosphere isn't grand, rather it is homely and puts you at your ease. The bedrooms are all large and different and our bed and bathroom were good quality and comfortable. Unlike a modern hotel, there was virtually no noise from other guests and we slept so well.
The breakfasts were copious, fresh and tasty and we were offered boiled eggs as well.
Albi boasts a huge brick cathedral, the fantastic Toulouse Lautrec museum and miles of cobbled streets for wandering in, with good shops and restaurants.
Thank you so much Madame for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.

Room Tip: I am sure all the rooms are lovely

Yes is the answer to the question: would I go back again? Absolutely Yes! This place is special. Answered my needs as a customer: well restored 18th century family run French Chateau. The period decorations was like stepping back in time. Rooms & bathrooms are spacious with view of the garden. Breakfast based on local produce & even the eggs were freshly laid by the hens on the property. We also had a kitchen to prepare dinner when we did not fancy going out. The owner was very welcoming and conscious of our needs. Definitely 10/10.

We are a middle aged couple from Barcelona that were touring the Tarn region. This period house has gone under an impressive restoration work which has given splendid architectural results. The house is very large, with ample rooms with period, very well recreated decoration. The whole atmosphere is quite convincing: you get back in time easily!! Beautiful details here and there, fantastic terraces and a very large garden. Brigitte, the owner, makes you feel like her guest: she will book the best restaurants for you, give advice on what to visit and, more importantly, what to best avoid. Again, the house is simply impressive. Breakfast is a little limited, though. I,d rather pay a bit more and get a more substantial, varied breakfast. We would definitely return. Highly recommended!

I just loved our stay here. It is a small chateau and the owner's family has been there for centuries. The room is very romantic in its old style. Breakfast is good with fresh and local products. The garden in large and there are plenty animals in it. I think it could be nice for kids too.

Room Tip: We loved our Blue Room

An old Manoir (an old Manor House) that has been lovingly and faithfully restored and the work is being continued by a descendant of the original owners. Set in sweeping fields not far from a the city of Albi and motorway to Toulouse. Guests have the use of a common well equipped kitchen and are encouraged to make use of it. Just one word of warning if suffering from a mobility issue, the steep marble stairway could prove to be a bit of a challenge.

Room Tip: All rooms have access to common balconies/terraces at either side of the bedroom corridor and beauti...
