Amazing Place !

Review of Kiulu Farmstay
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 27 Jun 2016
My 2D1N at Kiulu Farmstay was fantastic. It brings back my memory back to my 'kampung'. The place was so calm with amazing scenery. What I like the most is the cold water river. It is so clear that you can see the fish swimming following the river stream. Unfortunately I cant try the river tubing because of the heavy rain. The Fig Tree also looks amazing ! Not to mention the Quad Biking experience, it was thrilling and adventurous !

I really like the environment in Kiulu Farmstay. It surrounded by nature and river which really help me escape from my stress. It also remind me of my childhood memories. Here i also learn about culture such as rice pounding and sieving, blow pipe and playing with musical instruments.

This place located 30-40 minutes from the city center. The journey was pleasant as there was so much things to see. Imagine passing by hanging bridges and paddy fields, river flowing, birds chirping and villagers treat you like their family. That exactly what we experience during our visit the other day at Kiulu Homestay and Kiulu Farmstay. Limited mobile signal allow us to spend more time on a personal level to friends and the villagers. The activity was perfect and amazing! My favorite was the swimming session in the cold river!

Room tip: Kiulu Farmstay located near to the river

If you have been wanting to be away from the city, if you have been dreaming to hear the sound of the nature..this is the place. Kiulu Farmstay is a recommended place to stay especially if you have never experience the real nature-stay. It is just too calming and soothing to be missed out. Good for family and friends.

Kiulu Farmstay was an awesome experience in terms of how i can be one with nature and bond with other people without technology getting in the way. Staying at The Fig Tree was unique and different in a way that it makes you feel appreciative of what you have in life. Its like being content with what you have. The activities were enjoyable and fun, especially river tubing! The food were delicious, as it was cooked by the locals - which makes it a lot more unique. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, with good company, food and activities!

Room tip: Rooms are facing the beautiful Kiulu River

My friend and I went to checkout this place and stay at The Fig tree. We stay 1 night there and we have lots of fun! It was a new experience for me. They have 2 rooms at the moment, toilet, kitchen and common area. I personally love the setting by the river, the serenity at night, delicious local food and I really enjoy the morning walk passing through the villages and green paddy fields. I miss the friendly local people and I hope to stay longer next time and do the other activities they offered.
