Had a nice experience staying here. Took their 4D3N special CMCO offer which was excellent value for money. Overall it was quiet & peaceful. Our room was facing the super long pool & a short walking distance to their private beach. Friendly & efficient service from their staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the housekeeping. One night we noticed a parked car's engine was making some weird noise with no driver inside & notified the staff on duty. They responded very quickly & managed to contact the owner to resolve the situation. The set breakfast was tasty with a generous portion & variety. We also requested for a bucket of ice at night to chill our drinks & they provided it complimentary. It was definitely worthwhile staying here.

Room tip: Choose a room on the same level as their pool if u love swimming

Camar is a resort that is worth every penny. We had a bungalow villa to ourselves with an outdoor show tub. The room came with a sofa as well. We are just 10 meters to the beach. The beach is clean, calm & white. And that’s our breakfast view! Although they don’t serve buffet breakfast anymore, the set menu was even better! I feel I had a customised breakfast just for me and the portion was generous. The swimming pool was huge but I wished I had the time to dip into it. Service was friendly & professional. What else can one ask for? Don’t wait. This is the time.

Stayed at the Beach Wing for couple of nights.

Main lobby design is simple.

Checking in was fast as they already had the room ready. The room is located at the beach near to the restaurant.

Room layout seems decent but the decor and fixture is so simple and do not reflect the price you pay. Sorry but i do expect a bit more upscale. Luckily all seems to be operating well; TV, lighting, aircond, water heater all. Sadly toiletries is so simple and basic. No stationary or writing kit too.

Breakfast at the restaurant is OK. Limited set menu (due to RMCO). Food tasted OK. Now they do serve for Lunch and Dinner but choice is limited and its super pricey.

The beach is great for photography (if your in luck for great weather). Small stretch of private beach to relax.

Staff were OK.

Getting around is easy via Grab. Also if you dont want to go out, you can order food from Grab too.

I think this place can go further with some major and minor improvement.

We booked lagoon room where we have direct access to the pool. Overall room is clean, cozy and comfortable. They provide free minibar but it only has Yeo's packeted lychee juice, however, there is a water filtering system in the room for your convenience.

It's a shame that due to the RMCO, poolside and pool bar had to close. And the restaurant by the beach only offers breakfast - not even room service. For breakfast, they offer a good amount of food, with options for Malaysian or American breakfast.

We had to cut short our stay by one night due to an emergency back home in KL. The front desk staff was really understanding, and gently advised me in getting our refunds back from Agoda.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay, and will look forward to come back to a fully functional resort without restrictions once the pandemic is over.

Room tip: Opt for the lagoon room

Staying in Camar Resort during the RMCO period. We stay at Primer Villa which is close to the beach.

The villa is beyond my expectation. A queen-size bed, sofa, bathroom with bathtub, there even has an outdoor bathtub and showe area. Unfortunally the outdoor bathtub look dirty so we didnt use it.

Coffee & tea are provided but the room doesn't provide any bottle water. instead of giving a bottle water, there is a water filtering system in the room for us to fill up. For me I think is a great idea to save the enviroment to reduce the usage of plastic.

Due to the RMCO New SOP, the resort only provide breakfast, other than that all restaurant and room service is closed, that ashame.

For the breakfast, there are 2 choices either the American breakfast set or Malaysian breakfast set. I orded the American set and guess what? The amount of food are huge! definitely worth it...

The plus: large pool, quiet location, frienely helpful staffs.

Just a little point out to the management, the Aircond in our villa made a lot of noise when you turn it on, and the mini bar is not working properly. (Villa 130) And there is some stray dogs at the entrance of the resort and it bark everytime we passed by.
