Description: Set in the beautiful grounds of La Pari-Pari, fatCUPID is tucked away down a quiet lane off the main Pantai Tengah strip. Owned and operated by three cousins, the restaurant features recipes from their family's rich Nyonya heritage, incorporating dishes learned from their Grandmother, and some Aussie favourites that are a reference to the cousins' shared experiences living in Australia. Great for a laid-back breakfast or lunch, and a fantastic intimate venue for a quiet, cozy dinner.

We really enjoyed our meal at fatCUPID, they have a good range of food, including lots of options for vegetarians (I had the tofu and mushroom burger which was AWESOME). The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Worth the visit!

We found the foodie scene in Langkawi a bit of a disappointment after Penang, so made a last ditch attempt to get to find some great nosh. fatCUPID didn't dissappoint us. The staff are friendly the ambience is really relaxed and chilled out and the food was really good and accompanied by some great cocktails. I don't think I can rate is as the best food ever in Malaysia but overall it was pretty much a great experience for the evening and certainly the best we had in Langkawi. If we had stayed longer I would have gone for brunch or lunch or dinner again. The only challenge is that the location isn't the easiest to find. fatCUPID people better signs please tell the hotel down the road where you are as well or have a few more signs for us tourists that are stumbling around to find you. Make the effort its worth it.

The food is too expensive for its quality. I ordered a highly recommended vegetarian burger but it really disappointed me. The taste was so weird and even the fries were too salty, even worse than McD (but the price here is tripled). The customers sitting near us were smoking which really pissed us off. Smoking should be banned here!

A bit off the road, it is located in a quiet alley (a bit of a bumpy ride from the road) - easy to miss unless you are active on TripAdvisor or other similar apps. We went by the TripAdvisor rating and I must say, they totally live up to their rating. We started off with fried wanton before moving to the main course. While I ordered for the English brunch (chicken sausages, bacon, baked beans, sunny side up, hash browns and bread), my mother and wife ordered for sambal prawn with rice for the main course. We also went for the Lychee lime drink (a blended ice drink) to go with the food. Everything that we ordered seemed to be freshly cooked (specially the sambal prawn) and were cooked to near perfection. Service was very prompt - our food was served within 15 minutes from ordering. The decor is completely white and thus, the ambience has a very casual feel to it. The restaurant looks into a small pool and a garden with small cottages on the sides - it adds to the casual feel. What stood out most was their service. It was raining heavily outside so the staff escorted us till our car with umbrellas (without us even asking for help) - such small gestures add up to a superlative experience. Overall, a must visit when you are in Langkawi!

The place is not that easy to find as it is quite deep inside and the road is not that developed. The nyonya laksa is really delicious. It is a must try together with it's tasty sambal. The mackerel dish which is one of their special has a very unique fusion taste as well. The ayam ponteh is however not that authentic as the nyonya's. They have an excellent ambience and their service is good. The price I would say is above average. The place is an open area and thus mosquitos can't be avoided but they do provide candles that repel mosquitos.
