£2.00 well spent ( for the parking) to watch nutcases in wetsuits jumping into the beautiful turquoise waters of this lagoon.
Its like a chilly Acapulco!
Easy access for all, well worth a visit as attractive in its own right..

Great to be able to walk to it direct from the parking on the beach and is disabled friendly in most parts. Car park is full of pot holes so be careful where you drive when parking especially if there has been rain. Lovely short walk to the lagoon which was nice to see, but after crossing the bridge, the lagoon was disappointing as although it is a shade of teal/turquoise in colour, there is little else there to capture one’s interest. The history of the mine and its old houses and buildings could be better utilised by the National Trust to make this a more enjoyable experience. My husband stated it was little more than a wishy washy green sink hole. I can only advise you to make your own minds up.

We’ve been here many times. It’s a nice short walk from Abereiddy beach and we’ve swum in the lagoon in the summer. It’s a nice place to walk to and the water is a lovely colour. Lots of people like to jump in the water from different heights so very popular with co steerers and water lovers.

Arrived at Abereiddy at high tide, car park very drab with large ruts and pools of water (previous night's rain) - so initial impressions were disappointing. I'm guessing that it is much better at low tide. There are public loos at this location.

Short walk to the 'Blue Lagoon', we found it underwhelming to look at ... but clear that a school party were enjoying coasteering. Would be a good place for highish diving too ... in a wet suit! The colour was more a greenish than blue. Later googled and saw that the red bull diving was from an artificial platform rather than from the quarry top, this is maybe why I was a little underwhelmed.

Makes a really nice short, wheelchair friendly, walk from the car-park in Abereiddi Bay or a longer walk from Porthgain. The day we went it was very turquoise (more so looking down from the cliff above) and there was a seal inspecting all the humans which was nice. The ice cream van in the car park sells great coffee made with an Aeropress. Free Public Conveniences just beyond tha car park.
