Great indian restaurant. Staff are very friendly and the food is excellent.

Have only ever visited for the Sunday buffet but this is much much better than a roast dinner at a cavery on a Sunday.

There is a good selection of starters and mains, ten main dishes on our visit. Stand out dishes for me on the day included naga chicken, lamb balti and the chefs special. All the curries are served in a richly flavoured well stocked sauce.

Unusually for a buffet all the food is also piping hot.

I don't like giving just positive reviews but cannot list any faults. Oh apart from it is 45 miles from home!

Don't bypass Maahis, give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Never disappointed, we had a delightful meal. Excellent curry, superb onion bhajis and very good coffee to finish. It was a all round fantastic evening, staff could be more helpful and friendly.

Went for a meal in December (just found this review in my drafts!) Every time we visit the meal is truly fantastic. I had the ponir kofta which was one of the best I’d had for a long time. Honestly if you haven’t tried Maahis give it a go as you won’t be disappointed.

Some 15 of us attended this very classy establishment to celebrate a birthday. It is very well set up and the staff made every effort to look after us and to coordinate the different orders as well as to explain the dishes.
The dishes on offer were quite different to what I have come to expect of Indian Food in Australia and this restaurant brings the culture of Bangladesh to its menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed the offerings and were very surprised at the very reasonable cost of the meals. As well the restaurant did not hesitate when requested to provide separate bills and this was done very efficiently with no fuss.
