What better place to be than to sit overlooking the multicoloured ocean or spotting sharks and tarpon in the harbour. Always quiet and relaxing and great food and service. Best fish tacos on the island or perhaps anywhere. This time we had mahi .

I went here with a large group of co-workers on a business trip and the servers we had were so rude and disrespectful. They forgot items from our order every time. They had a huge chip on their shoulders. If you are a person of color, they are very prejudice to you. My colleagues can attest to what they witnessed and heard. They call Black People “Driftwood” which is a derogatory term for Black Americans that have come to the Island to visit. They said it multiple times behind my back ask if I didn’t hear them or know what they were saying. We had a Bohemian girl with us and she let me know they were saying derogatory terms to me. It’s a shame that in 2022 people are still just as ignorant and backwards as ever. I work in TV and we travel a lot for business and have lots of connections, we will be telling everyone from our team and other shows how ratchet this place is. You all get and (F) for fail. I work for Netflix, so we will be telling the world about this ratchet place. You F - - Ked with the wrong person people. I know a lot of people.

We had my husband's 70th birthday celebration there with a party of 7. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers , drinks and food. The service was very good. Dessert very limited though, only plain cheesecake which wasnt very good.

We stopped by one afternoon for drinks and to check out the menu. It upstairs and there are nice views. We sat at an outside bar and just enjoyed the view. We stopped back for dinner another day and ate inside. The doors were all open to see the views. As it got later and the breeze died down they closed up the French doors and turned on the air. I had fish tacos which were very good and my husband got fish chowder. It’s different than New England chowder which has a creamy base. It had more of a broth base. My husband liked it, not so much for me. He also had wings which he could live off of. Service was very good.

This is probably the fanciest place in the southern half of Long Island - it is an official port of entry to Long Island (1 of 3 from what I have been told) so the area is always maintained and kept fresh.

We enjoyed the views and the breezes (there are tables inside with A/C if it's a must for you). Service was nice, drinks weren't bad but they weren't great either (2 different ones and had this weird aftertaste we both felt, couldn't pinpoint what that is, maybe the water used for the ice or just something else that was taking definitely away from them).

What did stand out was the great food - we really enjoyed the conch fritters, the fish tacos and especially the grilled fish bites - doesn't get any better than this!

Would I return? Certainly yes just would take Kalik instead of the cocktails :) the fish comes straight from the boats right in the marina so you know what you get is nice and fresh, and the quality of it shows in the taste! The chef does great job with the great ingredient coming into their dishes!
