We visited Elpis on the 1st occasion for Lunch. Pizza all round (The seafood one was amazing!). After this, Elpis became a regular dining spot for our party. We popped in first of all to buy some fresh bread (however, we were a little slow off the blocks to get some).
The owners were so very welcoming, making us feel like family and also very generous to our children. The amount of variety on the menu on offer was vast. We need to return to sample some more.
The food was always hot, tasty and presented well. All the staff were attentive and friendly and would do anything they could to help ( particularly for an injured child - thank you). The fresh bread was first class with the accompanying salsa/ dip, truly delicious.
The dessert plate of yogurt, honey and fruit, brought out at the end of the meal, was always welcome and quickly demolished (missing it as I right here), and the honey/lemon Raki, wow.
Of the three restaurants in Plaka Square, Elpis' prices were reasonable, not as cheap as Harokopos (also really good food), but cheaper than Takis.
We are looking forward to returning next year!
