We went here after reading reviews on it, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was great, ordered sirlion steaks with chips. The food was fabulous and was cooked exactly as ordered. However on the down side it is slightly expensive, but well worth a visit if you feel like treating yourself.

We were visiting Ireland from Seattle, WA, and popped into this pub after a fun day of sight-seeing. We had our two little kids with us (both under the age of 4) and had a fantastic time! We originally thought we would have a pint and then head on, but after being there for our first pint, we didn't want to leave! The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our family and we just felt so welcomed. We decided to stay for food, and it was truly incredible. The grilled Irish sirloin steak sandwich was really something special, and our family gobbled up the golden fried mushrooms and of course the handcut chips! We had a memorable experience at the Bridge Bar and will always be grateful for the warm Irish hospitality we received there.

Great atmosphere, very friendly indeed. First time we were in Newry and this restaurant is really worth it to come back. I never eat a sole like this, exceptionally tasty with a delicious presentation. Looking forward to coming back to try the other things on the menu.

Recently dined here during a weekend breat to Northern Ireland from Scotland to celebrate our engagement with some of my fiance's family. There was a great atmosphere and the service was extremely efficient and friendly. The soup was lovely but the duck and noodle spring roll that I was allowed to try a bit of was exceptionally good, something a bit different that I wasn't sure about at first, but it was lovely. Another highlight was the steak, it was cooked perfectly and was very tender. All in all we had a beautiful meal and a fantastic night Bar and Eatery is another great example of the famous Irish hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is passing through Newry.
