We had always walked by, but one lunchtime popped in to find many old pieces historians would love. I thought the models were good too. Give it a look, you might be supprised.

This is only a very small museum in the centre of Huntingdon but it is packed full of history, it is extremely well laid out, with staff readily available to answer questions or to give help. I have been informed that the exhibits are chnged throughout the year. There are so some excellent items on Lon from other museums.
Well worth a visit
This is free for entry but any donations are welcome.

This museum is only one room but it is one room packed with things purported to have been owned by Cromwell or members of his family. The little cards detailing how the civil war played out and the artifacts and books from each part were very interesting. Doesn't detail much of what happened after he died but I suppose that isn't the point of the museum

I didn't learn much, I did history at degree level, so being big headed, know a good deal about the Lord Protector, but it was still nice to see so many artifacts associated with him.
This is anice little museum, and excellent for children to learn of one of the most important figures in British history
