“Fairy Magic.....”

Confusingly listed as a Holiday Rental this is in fact a Luxury B&B and we were delighted to have found it.

Located in a stunning quiet rural location it sits directly alongside a rarely used byway that offers access to oodles of stunning walks or a shorter walk to the local pub, the Angel, a tad stuffy but with good ale & fodder, Skipton is a short drive and offers excellent restaurants, conversely other local pubs provide good food and ale with a convivial atmosphere. Libby and David will willingly book restaurants for you.

The accommodation forms the total upper level of a converted barn and is accessed by well worn stone steps. Entering your very large room you are immediately cosseted by its contemporary styling. The Super King bed is very comfortable with quality linen, seating area to relax a fridge for those essential nightcaps and the excellent TV and media centre. It was blowing a gale, wet and freezing during our three day stay, to be able to return each day to a warm room was just super. The farm dog Hope, was lovely and greets you on arrival and departure and stands quietly on guard outside for you.

The contemporary styling theme continues with a quite stunning wet room probably the best we have experienced in the UK Soft fluffy towels and quality French toiletries offer a final flourish. Despite intensely reviewing the website visuals we were bowled over personally experiencing the actual quality of the accommodation. Your room is serviced every day and everything was spotlessly clean.

Breakfast is taken in the kitchen of the farm and is a short walk across the yard, Libby prepares everything freshly and its diversity is quite mind boggling, amiable conversation including helpful hints on local points of interest.

After endlessly searching the web for luxury B&B in the area, rarely have we been so pleased at the result. Exceeding all expectations Libby & David have just about got everything perfect with 1 Fairy Lane and we just loved it and the experience.
